    File deleted on WD Passport

I accidentally deleted an ldif file on my WD Passport USB hard drive and I need to recover it. Nothing new has been put on the drive since the deletion. Is there a freeware solution and will it still be an ldif file when I find it. Please help.

Download install and run Glary Utilities GlaryUtilities | Glarysoft

Under Advanced Tools - File Management, click on Restore deleted files, scan your drive, check whether you can find the folder/files in good condition (not overwritten) to copy it.Copy it to some other location/ folder and then move/copy it to the original location.

Thank you for your answer, when you say "under file management" where is that? My USB Passport is plugged in to my laptop, as it was when I deleted the file last night.

Thanks again for your help. The file I was looking for was "addressbook.ldif" and even though it was the last thing deleted, I could not find it among the results. I suspect that the extension may have changed since none of the found files have the ldif extension.
