Are you able to open (uncompress) the zip files?

Compress and uncompress files (zip files)

You may be able to roll back your computer to an earlier date/time (before this problem began) with a restore point.

    System Restore

If this doesn't help, perhaps something happened to damage or corrupt your system files. Try running a system file checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two.) If problems are found, run the scan 3 times and immediately reboot your computer after each scan.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
