Booting sometimes stops at Mobo options page

Normally when I boot up the PC it goes through the screen where I have a brief chance to slect Bios entry etc - this screen normally moves on and I get the login screen.

Once in a while this the boot process stops at this options screen, and I have to switch off and on again - when it boots as normal.

Any ideas???

Thanks.

I see that you have the 3570K . Is it overclocked at all?

Also, when did this start happening?

I don't know if this will help but could it be an option in your motherboard settings? It could be something very simple that is being looked over.

I am having some BSOD issues which I have posted in the right place - not severe though.

Just curious if related.

Thanks

Don't mean to be vague, but not sure to be frank.

Happens maybe once a week - can not say it specifcally happens after BSOD.

Set the HD first to boot in BIOS setup, which you access by tapping the key given on first screen for it. Then look for Boot Priority, follow Help instructions to move HD to top of order, Save and exit.

Then to boot a disk or flash stick choose it from the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first screen.

Let us know if this is enough.

Why not try resetting your BIOS settings? Enter BIOS and reset to default > Save and exit and see if the problem persists.

PC not booting past mobo/bios splash
I just rebooted my homebuilt PC after getting a windows update notice. The computer will not load past the splash screen for the mobo, or maybe it's the bios splash, not sure. I have tried turning it off, unplugging it, it just sits on that screen. Pushing the menu F keys does nothing. Any idea...

SATA Mobo cluster full. What are my options for more ports?
My Asus Crosshair IV SATA cluster is full. 2 SSD's, 3 HDD's and 1 of 2 Blueray drives connected. Need to connect at least 2 more SATA devices and power them. I have a open E1 sata port that is separate from the 6 port cluster but I believe that is for optical drives only, which would help with the...

This is a bit unusual, and I've not anyone discussing this before. I changed my older MSI motherboard to a newer one. I had RAID on the old one using an expansion card; but the new mobo has a built-in RAID, so I hooked up the drives (SATA) directly to it. AFter establishing the RAID, it looks...
