    Facebook password

I am using Chrome & Windows 7. When I sign out of Facebook my password is not deleted. So when I come back later to log in again my username & password are already entered. This is not a problem with auto form fill. It only happens with Chrome. I have deleted Chrome history data, etc for past month. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

Please refer to this Chrome help page, which explains how to prevent passwords being saved, and to clear existing passwords:

Is it a problem ? How many people use the pc ? Just yourself ?

I set Chromium to open Facebook, Sevenforums, Ebay and Verizon so I don`t have to keep signing in.

If clearing ALL privacy data doesn't work (it must work though):

    • Tick those two boxes.

    then,

Go to settings > Click "Delete this user"

WARNING: This will delete ALL of your saved bookmarks, passwords, extensions, etc and make Chrome return to "factory state".

As I said it is not an auto form problem as I have already tried that..It seems to be a problem with Chrome since it doesn't happen with IE. So any other ideas. I don't like leaving it since anyone who uses my laptop can get into FB

Seems to be impossible unless you have some third party app (keylogger type) or some malware that makes it impossible to remove your saved password. Some malware are specifically designed to solely attack facebook privacy. I have encountered many such in my university's labs.

    Time for a malware scan.

Like I said before it only happens with Chrome & Facebook password. It is not the auto fill form or password save in Chrome.

Have you tried Ccleaner for clearing your *saved* passwords?

I've tried Ccleaner already. When I go to FB log in page my email & password are already filled in with yellow background when I use Chrome. But not with IE so that's why I think it's a Chrome problem
