Usb, touchpad and keyboard disabled suddenly.

Hello.
I have a notebook Acer E531 running Win 7.
Suddenly all my usb devices, touchpad and even keyboard happened to be disabled. If I run into safe mode they are still not working so I simply cannot unlock them... I scanned for viruses using AVG Rescue CD updated and Bitdefender which for some reason didn't update but they didn't find any viruses. I don't know how to enable the devices because I cannot access device manager in any way . Usb keyboard/mouse aren't working. I tried them in Linux (Unutu livecd and they work there). The touchpad isn't effected by the fn on/off command on the keyboard. I don't want to use system recovery but find another easier way. Any ideas?

It must be reading the keyboard in some way or it would not boot. Can you use the keyboard within the CMOS (BIOS) setup?

Yes I can use it. I didn't tried does usb devices work then but usb mouse works in Ubuntu and so is the keyboard. I believe it is a very good virus attack because the client said there were some error messages poping up before this happened. Now it loads Win 7 fine and don't show any virus behavior like ads and slowdowns but I cannot do anything just shutting it down .

In ubuntu(linux) only. Not in Win7 so it must be software/driver issue. The problem is how can I enable them if I cannot access device manager even from safe mode.

benjy I said even in the original post that usb devices are working fine in another operating system. But Win 7 for some reason disabled them - possibly virus attack and I cannot open anything from Windows to fix the problem.
