Dell C521 Will not boot

    BIOS settings such as AHCI can cause a Win7 installation to fail where it
    booted before. (I.e. AHCI on/off)

    Where was the Active flag located before you ran Startup Repair repeatedly?

    When you reinstalled, did you delete all partitions during install. Follow the same steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get a perfect install.

    Sorry its been so long, have been focusing on school. Everything works fine now. I will be sure to come here again if i ever need help, just because this site is so nice! :) Thank you to all who replied!
