.exe files with folder icon and name are created automatically

Hello. I've started to have a problem with my PC. It automatically creates .exe files that are named by the folder they are into (e.g. Desktop.exe) for the folder that's created on desktop. When I try to open it sends me to Libraries folder and also pops some message that requires me administrator privileges.

Windows 7 Professional x64.

Any clues about this ?

Sounds like you have a case of nasty malware. Run your anti-malware tools.

Yes. That's 100% a malware infection. I was attacked by that when I was a kid, lol.

Do full system scan with a good anti virus and Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

Eventually, you'll need to reinstall Windows since cleaning these kinds of infections completely is quite difficult. It already seems it has done a lot to your system.

Ok. I just installed norton antivirus and did a full system scan. Apparently it removed all of those. Thanks for help

Program to automatically move files as created by Fraps
Hey guys, I plan to record PC gameplay using Fraps, which creates very large files. In order for me to do so whilst still maintaining high FPS in game, I have to record to my SSD. However, this fills up very quickly. My idea is to make a program that automatically moves the recordings over to...

Automatically open a created folder
So one cool thing I liked about vista was that it switched (aka opened) the folder you just created. I know for some this was probably annoying depending on what you were doing but it fit my usage scenarios perfectly. I am hoping it is nothing more than a registry setting but I havenít been able...
