No problem ICit2lol, I think I'll stick around this thread for a little while longer. I'm still wondering what exactly the OP is wanting to do and why. It's a bit above my skills but I'm carouse to see where this thread leads.

In my Win 7 setup, I have a drive that is called J:(Removable Disk). It seems to be "Canon MX700 series USB Device". I do not know what it is for, and I really do not want it. Could someone describe it to me, and tell me if I should get rid of ot, and, if so, how? Thanks in advance. Hans L
