Can not view folders

Hi there,

When I ALWAYS try to open a file/upload a file into a website such as this forum and even Blogger, it would not allow me to go into the other libraries such as Desktop and Pictures. I will include a photo.

How may I get rid of this error? I think it's a Win. 7 issue.

Hello Super Luigi,

Sorry, but your screenshot doesn't show anything helpful. Could you provide more details?

Just a few questions to help:

Are you trying to upload from or save to your desktop and/or Pictures?

What happens when you try?

Any error messages?

I'll try to explain it so you can understand

Whenever I try to upload an image/file onto an online service, such as this forum, it will only let me upload files from the Downloads folder.

There is no error message, because the folders/libraries of my computer are not shown.

Please respond if you need more help

If this has just recently started, then you could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this started to hopefully fix it.

Are there any other options rather than a system restore? I could try shutting my computer down soon.

If you mean that your navigation pane is blank when you try to not be able to navigate, then a system restore could be the fastest way to possibly fix this if it's an available option.

Okay, when I was looking in my library to view my photos (not to upload them), the navigation buttons (back and forward) were different. Could this be something?

But, relating to the problem, the navigation page IS completely blank and only lets me search through the "Downloads" folder. Is there something I could set maybe in the Registry Editor or something like that?

Any more pictures I could do? A video?

A snip of the issues would be very helpful, without being scribbled out.

This is the preferred, best way to upload an image to a post.

You may also upload a photo without using the Snipping tool.

Okay, here you go. I added a sentence that said that I clicked on the Upload Files button.

The main thing I notice is that your navigation pane (left side) is empty.

Do you have this issue in any other web browser?

Is it also empty when you open Windows Explorer?
