    Exactly. 1st off, have no fear when using ccleaner, I have been using it for years with no problems. Use it to delete your cookies, browsing history, everything, if you want. It will delete your passwords and what not so just make sure you know them all in your head, as I do.

    You can sweep your registry with it until it shows no more problems. I have never, ever, had a problem with ccleaner doing this. Everytime you run and install windows update, run ccleaner. You won`t believe all the crap windows update doubles up in the registry.

    I gotta concur on CCleaner's registry cleaner, it is NOT very aggressive and I've used it (daily) for about 7 years.

    :) I uninstalled Norton and downloaded it. Believe it or not, I could get back on Firefox and Spotify. Thank you all for your help.
