Hmmm, it sounds like the print Screen button is captuing the image to clipboard, overwriting the copied text that was there. but pasting the image is not working.

You could use the Snipping Tool instead. It is in All Programs > Accessories.

Jack, it's Start orb > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool. Maybe you can update your post. The OP does not seem to be a pro and may get confused between my post and yours.

OK, back to basics.

In your case, either the clipboard is not working correctly for the PrtScr or you are not pressing the right key combination (check in your PC's user manual).

If you make a print screen and then do a CTL+V in Paint, the screenprint should show up.

Try this, copy some text, any text, then paste it into a text file (notepad). Does it paste ok? If so, now press the Print Screen button. Try to paste into the same text document. Does the same text you pasted before paste again? Or does nothing paste this time? If you have Word, use word instead of notepad, does the image paste the 2nd time, or the text, or nothing? A Guy

Good day, today I've got an ASUS Eee PC X101CH notebook. Everything seems to be working really good, except that function keys (for e.g., FN + F10 to mute) are not working. I think I'm missing some kind of a driver. Any ideas? Thanks!
