small red vertical line when there is a double 'll" in Windows

    I have another question.

I am using an external LCD monitor. In Windows screens where there are 2 lower case Ls together or a lower case I and an L together there is a red/brownish vertical line the same size as the letters. It doesn't happen in programs ( MS Office) only Windows.

    Thanks in advance

This is the preferred, best way to upload an image to a post.
Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums
You may also upload a photo without using the Snipping tool.

To better help us to help you would you please add your systems specs? Here's the correct way to do it. :SystemInfo See Your System Specs Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built. Very important

Log in to Seven Forums and you will be able to transfer the info directly to the specs page in your profile from within the System Info app.

After doing this your specs will be available in each of your posts.
Click on My system Specs in the lower left of this post to see how it should look.:)
Full instructions are in the tutorial.

    Hello gerribol.

This problem should be pretty easy to solve I suppose. This problem is the result of bad clear type contrast.

    Click Start.
    Click Control panel.
    Click "Display".
Click "Adjust clear type" at the left pane.
Now a window should open up.
Do what it says: Select the text box that looks best to you. Avoid the boxes where you see such "colors" you described with the text. Keep doing this (4 times I think) and ultimately click Finish. Selecting a lower contrast should eliminate these colors to some extent but still depends on the quality of LCD you're using..
