I am sorting by name, grouping by (none), and below is a screenshot of what happens when I change the "Arrange By" option to arrange by song. As you can see nothing changes it still arranges by folder...

Also note in the picture "song" is highlighted but I already left-clicked it...

Go ahead and reset all of your folder view settings back to default using the tutorial below to see if works properly afterwards.

Dang unfortunately that didn't work... =( I noticed though in the command console that it said some registry keys were missing while I ran the .bat file (It didn't actually list the names of the registry keys). Well I guess uhh do you have any more ideas to try?

Thank you for responding and trying to help me so far although unsuccessful.

Just as a test to see if the issue is just with your account or all accounts, create a new user account, log in to it, and see if you have the same issue.

This issue affects all user accounts as said in my first post... On a side note if it helps this issue with that option not working only happened when I repair installed my computer. So maybe an option by default is off that I need to turn on??? And on another note I only only experienced the file display/disappearing and loading issues when I deleted the files located in the TxR folder to fix the arrange by issue. But yea sorry any other ideas ???

EDIT: Oh yeah also I forgot to mention that I noticed in my Event Viewer that there were some logs that kept appearing that might pertain to the issue. Here is a list of the logs that I think appear the most often:

    1. Error Event ID 7006 Service Control Manager: The ScRegSetValueExW call failed for FailureActions with the following error:
    Access is denied.

    2. Error Event ID 2 Kernel-EventTracing: Session "Circular Kernel Context Logger" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035

    3. Error Event ID 7001 Service Control Manager: The Computer Browser service depends on the Workstation service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

    4. Error Event ID 10 WMI: Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

    5. Error Event ID 10010 DistributedCOM: The server {7D096C5F-AC08-4F1F-BEB7-5C22C517CE39} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

NOTE FOR THIS EVENT ID ERROR THAT THE NUMBERS IN THE BRACKETS SEEM TO CHANGE.

PS: There appears to be ALOT of Service Control Manager Event ID errors. SEE PIC

If you like, you could try doing a repair install to fix it.

As much as I'd love to do another repair install and waste another week or two of installing programs making accounts etc... That ain't happening because the whole reason this feature never worked in the first place is due to me doing a repair install... Ty tho for trying I just know that won't work... Maybe someone else knows how to fix these issues because I saw other forums with the same issues but with no resolution... ??? Or do you have any ideas on addressing my event viewer problems because maybe fixing those will fix my problems???

EDIT: Is it possible the option is turned off in the registry? If so how can I turn it back on?

    Radical,

Other than a repair install where you won't lose anything, you could also try doing a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before you had these issues to see if it may help. However, you will lose anything installed after the date of the selected restore point though.
