    Opening RAR files

What is the best free program to open RAR files on 64 bit windows 7. It would need an extract here option but they probably all have? And be clean and no spy or adware

I don't know, I didn't recommend it. Read through the site if you are going to use it to find out why.

WinRAR is pretty good as well. It's paid but the trial never expires, kind of immortal, hehe. I have been using it since I was a kid.

It's the full version as trial... But the trial never expires.
    WinRAR - 64Bit - Download

Or as already recommended, 7zip. Great tool, also.
How about trying them both and making your own opinion, which one suits you more?

I got it here WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files

I remember the never ending trial now had on a laptop

    According to wikipedia IZArchttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IZArc#Problems
Recent versions of IZArc installer are known for installing malware and adware, and altering the user's system environment, even disregarding of the visually presented options during installation procedure.
I do not know if that is true or if it applies to IZArc downloaded from somewhere other the developers site

The trial has FULL functionality. They say it's a 40 day trial, but you can keep using it forever along with all of its features.

EDIT: Also make sure to get the 64 bit version for better perfromance if you have a 64 bit system.
