random freezing in Windows 7,cause of this?

Dear members,
I bought all new components 3 weeks ago,and my sistem is as follows:
MB: Asrock 990FX Extreme3
CPU AMD FX 8120 FX with stock cooler
RAM Kingston KHX1600C9D3 2X4GB @ 1600MHz.
PSU: Fortron Raider 650 W
HDD: WD Green 1TB drive (sistem)+separate 500 GB WD green
chasis: Aerocool VX-e
optical drive:Pioneer DVD-RW.
Only my graphic card is old one but worked normally in other pc.It's ATI HD 4650 512MB DDR 3
I tested my pc with all kinds of software (OCT,Intel burn test,aida64 stab. test) for voltage stability and temperatures.My cpu goes max 61 C in full load , in idle round 45 C.And voltages that I get under full load are stable.
I played some games,and first froze was in a pc game after like 15 min of playing,second and third while browsing over internet and forth while watching a mp4 video.It just hangs with weird sound and it freeze.I had to reboot it.It just happens maybe after 2-3 hours of work,but 3 x it happened in Windows.
I went through pc mark7 and 3d mark06 test went normal,no freezing.
This stock cooler is very loud and in some moments it gives me even 5500 rpm.After the reboot I went to BIOS to read temperatures,I got cpu temp round 46 C,mainboard 41 C I think.
I've tested RAM with memtest86 no errors,went through OCT with 1h test no errors.I've put xmp profile for RAM in BIOS.
I've installed all the drivers from a CD I got with my MB,and put cataylst newest drivers (before this beta release).
All the time I was downloading something so my network card was working (I've installed broadcom drivers too).
Any help what causing this would be much appreciated.The problem is I bought components in other country so it's hard for me now to ask for warranty...and I still don't know what is causing problems..

My first guess is a problem with the graphics card and/or drivers. But that's only a guess. One of the Forum experts prepared this troubleshooting tutorial that may help. Follow the steps in the order listed. It's time consuming but it has helped many to isolate their specific problem.

I suspect you are pushing over the limitations of that 512meg video card, much faster sends to it, and it's not cutting it on the higher resolutions, otherwise known as a bottleneck, might be of lower tier PCI-Express versions which if it's a 1.x, that's a performance hit on a new motherboard that is most likely a 2.0+, sorry I was just going to say limitations, and avoid getting too techie.

I would probably go for a new card, depending entirely on budget and that 650w PSU is hopefully adequate for say a Radeon 7770 and some better probably, and you will be SO HAPPY with the huge improvements.

I just read an old article though that made me think twice about the requirements, as far as amount of RAM, but I still judge that 4650 as too weak for today, and why cripple your good new system with it.

About $120 USD for a typical 7770 seems to be the going rate.

Mind you multiple variants of same card there, as usual, to add to confusion.

Would I install drviers for my mainboard from it's manufacture asrock or drivers from amd website for specific chipset (mine is 990fx)?
The ones on CD seem older then ones on amd website...

I suggest using ASRock's but look at the version history first and see IF anything has changed from your current that effects you, pass if nothing does.

I formatted my sistem and reinstalled my Windows 7.Now I just have bare naked Windows 7.Tested HDD with wd utility tool,no errors,testing memory with memtest86 no errors so far.
What do you suggest me to do further more?I thought to install driver one by one and see what happens.First chipset without gpu driver then add gpu.I have broadcom network adapter driver on cd,but my network should work with default win 7 driver I think.

If this is part of troubleshooting that 4650 STILL, I wouldn't mess with it, and get the new video card in there.

A fresh Windows should be running great, sans high-end gaming due to that now less than stellar video card.

mztweak.com has some freeware tools, I suggest at the very least the registry backup tool and saving one backup before you start messing with it.

Hmmmmm I can not find drivers from AMD for my chipset,is it this:

Those are a lot smaller in MB from the ones which are on AsRock website.Which should I install?
