Windows 7: What DirectX for what video card?

I think that you won't have to install it. I mean, I believe it's already there after installing Windows XP or 7. So when you install 7, you automatically get DirectX 11. I know that for sure. XP, it should be there already.

Yeah, I know after installing windows 7, the DirectX 11 is installed with it. But don't we need to (for example) updates files ( or updated version of that DirectX 11) in 7?

No directX is normally just the one verison might have a little update with windows updates, but it will not go up a next verison
