I need app path and app args for external ir blaster

I am trying to setup an hp windows media center ir blaster/receiver and remote to use with a hauppauge colossus card, since it is a capture card and not a tv tuner media center doesnt ask to setup the ir blaster to change channels on my cable box. so im using an app called ir server suite which allows me to find the codes for my remote and allows me to use the ir blaster/receiver and remote to change channel on the cable box. After completing the ir server suite setup i then need to go into the colossus setting and add the app path and app arg for the external ir blaster, all i know is that i need to go into the windows registry to do this but how, the tutorial for ir server suite tells u how to learn the codes for your remote in conjunction with the hp ir receiver and remote but doesnt explain how to get the app path and app arg, as well as device id, what do i do

You can do a search for ir server suite with hauppauge colossus
Here is one thread I found that shows some registry settings.
How-to Set Up IR Server Suite with HD-PVR and Media Center
It's for the HD-PVR, but I think the Colossus should be similar.
Also, post #13 in this thread states
reg keys no longer required. You’ll enter these values in the Colossus / HD PVR setup application.
    Hope this helps!

I know someone out there has some experience with this, i have this program on my pc called orb which lets me stream live tv from my tv tuner card an old ati hdtv wonder pro that has a digital atsc tuner and a dongle to connect to a cable box via composite or s video, when i open orb and turn to a channel the ir blaster will change the channel when i dont have media center open and im looking at cable via my hdmi input, but when i open media center and use my remote to chnage the channel the ir blaster does nothing, why is this, i did put in the same app arg and path that the guy who made that tutorial did, getting close but still not quite there, someone please lend a hand
