Extended wrong Drive

Hi there

Please Help? I extended my drive volume before doing a backup now the data that was on that drive are not visible.
The drive I extended was the main drive with the windows 7 64-bit operating system and is still functioning like normal ( just larger )
Are there a way to undo or fix this without losing my data?

So you extended C, don`t see how that caused a problem, post a full shot of disk management.

Where was this data originally ? On C or on another partition ?

You should`ve done the backup 1st.

My drive was partitioned into a 200GB & 700GB partition with the 200 being the C drive. All my data was backed up on the 700GB partition. I removed the 700GB partition then used the unlocated space to extend the 200GB partition Now there's only one partition that shows as a 930GB C Drive but the data that was on the 700GB can not be read.
Please help this was all my kids photo's from growing up

Why in the world did you remove the 700 gig partition, weren`t you thinking ?

What did you think would happen to your data ?

Try using recuva:

Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download

The only way would be to rebuild the original partitiontables.
But that's for experts.
There are companies who could do that.

You may try PhotoRec.

Guide to using PhotoRec recovery software.

Note: The recovery process may take quite sometime. So do not lose patience.
