well its hard to explain it but his do I enable the little color burst when you click on the little icons next to the start orb....its bugging me that I dont get a effect... tia

Yes and its had no effect switched between several different aero theme

This feature is shut off for Aero themes. Use a non aero theme and it comes back although not all icons have a second image for "on click"

Noo sir they are on the aero themes because when on fresh install of windows it happens and yes all my themes were first party themes from Microsoft
