change desktop icons
Morning how do i change my icons.i i have i/e as my default browser, and at least six of my icons .
have the i/e logo,like sky and google. i would like to have different icons for these .can anyone help.

you could try rebuilding the icon cache to see if it will display the correct icons for you.

Morning all. thanks Boohbah but i dont' have a google icon, thats the problem. i have I/E logo and i dont' have a sky icon.i have a I/E logo and it is the same with several others, all I/E icons.and as to your suggestion of changing the icon cache i havnt' got a clue what you mean Sorry.

there was a link to the tutorial about what the icon cache is and how to rebuild it in my last post,

Just read the tutorial and run it, it`s easy, it`s rebuilds the windows icon cache and it may fix your problem.
As I asked can you post a shot of the icons ?

just had a look at the cach rebuild cant' even get it to install.a bit oner my head . how do i send attachment

Yes i tried option one. clicked on download clicked run nothing happens. i have tried this off your link.
and also form google but i get the same result.
