    Harddisk security lock out


    Need some help, I have searched the threads for this subject and found none....my granddaughter some how put my emachine e525 2632 laptop into a harddisk security lock Primary Master Harddisk Security WD2500BEVT-22A23LOCK. when it comes on I can put the first password in but then it ask for another and I have tried every password I can think of and it will not take it.....Same screen keeps coming up over and over. It will not boot from the F keys....I can't find a way to reset it....I can't find a way to get to safe mode or bios....has anybody got any solutions. I don't care if I lose whats on here because there isn't anything worth anything......It didn't come with disks to recover. I can't get in to make anything happen....can anyone help.

    You'll have to take your laptop to an eMachine service center and have them clear the lock. Be prepared to show ownership of the laptop in the form of a receipt or your registration confirmation.

    Since there's no way for us to confirm your ownership, it is against forum policy to aid in bypassing passwords. Sorry, but that's how it works.
