    Remove taskbar pin option completely?

    Hello all

Forgive me if this is a well known thing, or is not in the right section (please feel free to move).

But I was wondering...is there anyway to remove the option completely to pin anything from the buttons in the bottom task bar right click context menu?

For me I have no use for this and very often go along an use right clicking of opened programs buttons often to close a lot of windows I have open when using my browser as well as other programs, and since its right above the close option, I am often clicking that pin one by mistake, and then have to go an un-pin it.

Guess its not that much of a big deal, but again as I don't ever want to use this, would be nice to get it out of the way.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello WBFAir,

The tutorial below can help show you how to remove "Pin to Taskbar" from all context menus.

Pin to Taskbar - Add or Remove from Context Menu in Windows 7

    Hope this helps, :)

    Hello Shawn

Thanks for the reply, this did the trick.

Was kinda confusing the talk on this as many times it talks about removing pinned programs, so kinda thought it just meant it would hide ones that were already pinned, (I know why, but thats how it could be read).

But no it did just as I wanted which was to remove the option just as I asked.

    So thanks again.
