Shaky mouse pointer with new mousepad.

Hi, with my old mousepad my mouse works just fine, but with my new mousepad (which is supposedly a high quality gaming mouse pad), my pointer shakes around when I drag my mouse across the screen. Is this just because the pad is bad or because I need to adjust something in the computer etc. to make it work well with the new MP?

Sometimes, different kind of mouse react differently to different mouse pad
some of them "match" a kind of mouse pad, and some of them not, resulting in shaky point just like in your case

It might seems stupid, but, well, look to my sig

So this particular mouse just doesn't like this particular pad....I can't really bring each pad I want to buy home for a test run though, or I'd find my perfect match

And strangely it behaves normally on any other surface.

It sure seems the mouse doesn't like this particular pad. I've never used one since mouses quit having balls in them. I use mine on a big desk calendar.

Just adjust the mouse dpi settings, either more or less till you get to your likings.
