    print function failure Win 7

Win 7(32)...Somehow all my ability to print has failed. Any time I click on Print that program crashes. If I select Control Panel >Devices and Printers > and select a printer and double click, Windows Explorer crashes. If I try to print from my browser, it crashes. If I try to print from my PDF program, it crashes. I tried Windows Troubleshooter for print problems and it crashes, too. I have cleared the print queue and manually restarted Spooler all to no avail. Can anyone give me an idea what has happened, please?

uninstall printer driver and reinstall it. Can you give more info about the crash? Any relevant stuff in eventlog?

So not a problem with a specific printer or specific program.
All about eventlog Event Viewer - Open and Use in Windows 7

TIP: print something... so it crashes. Afterwards look in eventviewer for events on that time

    In event viewer: windows logs\system
    Maybe there are better entries(?)
    Or custom views\management events

Not very usefull information. Only relevant stuff I see: spoolsv.exe
I think the printer spooler subsystem is faulty.

    In Elevated Command Prompt
    Code:
    sfc/scannow
Integrity errors? If so ... run it 3 times. All fixed?
Post sfcdetails.txt as described here: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
