Moved files Disappearing !!

Can someone explain to me WHY when I moved a file from my own personal folder to the videos folder that that file is ending up in windows media player ??? And,the only reason that I was even able to find the file was by pure chance !

Open wmp,
Click on Organize on the top left,
Then Manage libraries.
Sounds like you would want to click on the Videos listing.
Why ?
Because that is what wmp does/ it reads the contents of your libraries.
