Changing from windows 7 to windows 8

    hello friends,
I am planning to remove windows 7 from my laptop & install windows 8.But I may reinstall windows 7 later if I don't like windows 8.I have recovery disc for my laptop(HP Pavilion dv6-7012tx) & will reinstall windows 7 using that disc. But I think in this way I will loose all the updates that I had done to my laptop for past 1 year(these updates may be around 2gb).
So I wanted to know is there any way to reinstall windows 7 with all the updates?

    Hello Christin,

If you have another separate hard drive to save to, you could create a system image with all partitions on your Windows 7 hard drive selected to have it completely backed up.

This way you could do a System Image Recovery to restore the image when you like.

    Hope this helps, :)

Correct. It will be an exact image copy of the selected hard drives that includes everything on them. :)
