"X has stopped working error" on Skype, Oovoo, Neverwinter, more...

First off, thank you for taking the time to read this and help little ol' me out. I've been having a problem lately, where programs crash when I attempt to start them. It's happening with all of the following programs: Skype, Oovoo, Champions Online, Neverwinter, D&D: Eberon unlimited. When I attempt to start the program, it immediately comes up with a box saying "X has stopped working" X being any of those programs listed above. This problem used to just affect D&D and Champions Online, but for some reason, it started affecting other programs similarly just the other day. I think it might have something to do with the launchers and when they connect with the internet, because the static Oovoo launcher only crashes when I click "Connect with Facebook" or try to click log in. The other launchers crash immediately. Here are my specs:Windows 7 64 bit. Manufacturer is Acer, the model is Aspire 5830TG, Intel® Core ™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30GHz, 6.00 GB of ram (5.85 GB usable). I would be ridiculously grateful if anyone could help me, thank you for your time, just ask me if you need to know anything else about the computer to figure out the problem.

Is this still the inferior Factory Preinstalled Win7 with all of the bloatware and duplicate utiltiies which have better versions built into Win7? These throttle Win7 from its native performance and cause endless issues.

That's why most tech enthusiasts will not run such an install but instead Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Everything is provided in the blue link tutorial.

At the minimum I'd Clean Up Factory Bloatware.

If you'd rather work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

Thank you for replying! I'm stretched on time tonight, but when I get the chance I will try clean re-install and get back to you on if it fixed the problem or not.
