Monitor does not wake from sleep

I recently updated my video card as well as installed a number of Windows updates. Since that time, my monitor has difficulty coming back from a low-power state. The computer is running, but monitor stays blank with light orange light. I often have to shut down completely and eventually the monitor will come on. I "solved" this problem running a screensaver and continuously running my computer. Unfortunately, by the time I figured it was the updates those restore points are gone from my computer, even if I click "see more restore points".

Is there more restore points to be found on the computer? Can anyone direct me to a place I can find old Nvidia drivers?

    Thanks.

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Look at the bottom for beta and older drivers

Installed previous driver and still have the issue. Monitor goes into a low-power state and will not recover. Have to do a hard shut down. Ended up downloading a screen saver which seems to prevent this from happening...

ckelly14, if you are happy with using a screensaver then that is good. If not it could be power settings or even a driver for your monitor. Go to the manufacture site for your monitor and see if they offer a driver, Also check the manufacture site for your motherboard and look for a BIOS update.

Also in BIOS make sure that in the power settings the S3 in enabled for wake. Keyboard and Mouse. Some how these often change on my wife's computer.
