Windows 7 Build 7100

Linuzo's video tutorials for Windows 7.

Hello everyone,

I was able to get my microphone working with Windows 7 finally. Thanks to the realtek drivers, it looks like we will need to wait for another driver package from them to be able to disable the auto detection of the front plugs or microphone jack in the back. However I was able to get the bluetooth to work perfectly. I actually like it better too!! Anyways here is the video let me know what you think.

Great work, it looks like I will need to build a new system now for Windows 7 as my virtual PC just isn't cutting it

Windows 7 Build 7100

Yeah, I tried the vmware but I couldn't get it installed from the image. So I just installed it to another hard drive. I still have vista on the other drive but I haven't booted it all week.. LoL..

Nice video Linuzo.

I ended up putting Windows 7 on another partition with Vista to dual boot with them.

Hi Shawn, No problems with the dual boot? Vista and Windows 7 play nice together, do they?

No problems Norm, but Windows 7 (32 bit) cannot see the Vista (64 bit) partition. However, Vista (64 bit) sees the Windows 7 (32 bit) partition.

Vista X32. Windows 7 32bit

Shawn, thats interesting. Is that common with other dual boot x86/x64 systems or is it just Windows 7?

Norm, I have not tested it on the others yet, but I believe it to be common for x86 not to have the x64 partition displayed in Computer.

UPDATE:
Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit) cannot see Vista (64 bit) partition, but Vista 64 (bit) can see both Windows 7 partitions.

I believe the problem with System Restore Points being deleted when dual booting with XP and Vista played a part in this for Windows 7 to not be able to see Vista partitions. The solution to stop XP from deleting Vista's restore points when starting up XP was to manually hide the Vista Partitions.
