Text (.txt) files behaving like registry files
When I double click a file with the .txt extension it asks if it wants to be added to the registry:

right click on document->open with->select default program. Select notepad there as default and press Ok.
Or: txt - Text document files. The default program is Notepad.

What txt. file are you referring to? All txt. files, some txt. files or just one txt. file. I would not add anything to the registry unless I new what it was and have a understanding what it did.
