So an old comp of mine is showing BSOD during startup...how to backup?

Hello all

An old comp of mine is showing BSOD during startup and I would like to take a look at the document and picture folders before I proceed with a wipe of the partition and reinstall.

What's the best boot cd or usb util which can allow me to copy/look(at) these files and allow me to back the files up onto an external usb disk without an OS? Many years back I used Hiren's bootcd util but I dont remember the name of the util. Ideally I would like to do with via a USB book disk.

Thanks in advance!

You may follow this method using windows installer/repair disc...
Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

If you dont have windows installer/repair disc, http://www.puppylinux.com/ is a good one. Small and useful.

BSOD randomly showing up during startup.
Hey all. It's two weeks I'm trying to figure out what's the problem but to no avail. Any help is very appreciated :) (I recently changed energy supply and graphic card, don't know if that has anything to do with it) I uploaded the DMP file as requested, but that's what it says on BSOD anyway: ...
