Hi, can anyone tell me whether I need to buy software to burn dvd"s in windows 7 or is it part of 7?

If you're referring to copying DVDs then yes you would . If you're asking burning .iso files no just right click on the file and choose Burn image to disc .

You would need two drives to copy the DVDs though . Unless you want to copy the files to the hard drive then burn the files to a DVD . You could use Windows 7 to do that . A lot of people use third party software like Roxio or Nero .

Windows 7 Native Burning OK, other burning apps NOT OK
When I burn cd/dvds with Windows 7 built in burning software and windows media player all my burns are successful. When I try to use Nero, CD Burner XP or imgburn, it fails. hi there i have recently installed windows 7 and have found that my 2 burning progarams have stop burning things now. why is this happening? i have nero 9 and an old version of roxio. both worked fine until i got windows 7. i just tried to burn a disk with media player and that also didnt work....

Burning CD's in WMP
When I burn an audio CD in Windows Media Center, the CD will not play in some CD players. The tracks show up but will not play it. Perhaps there is not Table of Contents? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks you.
