    System Repair Disc

I had made a System Repair Disc (on a CD) when I first installed Windows 7 Pro 32 bit. This morning I went to use the disc and when I booted the system, I got the prompt "Press any key to boot from CD". I hit the Enter Key several times.

It did not boot from the CD; it continued and boot into Windows.

I thought maybe the disc was bad, so I made a new Repair Disc and tried again with the same results. I even tried it in different CD Rom. Same results.

Both CD Roms read other disks just fine so that is NOT the problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

The keyboard might not be working outside of Windows. Are you able to get into the BIOS or do other things outside of the BIOS like boot into other bootable CDs or DVDs?

Can you test the cd on another machine ? At least that will help rule the keyboard issue suggested by TC.

I used the install disc and checked the install for any errors by using the repair options.

Although it did not find a need to repair anything, after I did that my "Repair CD" worked just like it is supposed to.
