Restore Link to the program menu

    Restore Link to the program menu


    i dragged the System Restore link from the program menu to the Start menu and it no longer appears
    on the program menu. Is there a way to put a System Restore link back on the program menu and have the links in both places?

when u customize start menu, how does link look and behave? and how does menu look and behave?
My program data folder in the windows drive was accidentally deleted. As a result, most of my start menu items are gone. How can I restore my start menu and anything else that might be affected by the deletion of program data? Thank you.
I think the only thing that will work here is a registry hack. By default if you set the start menu properties to display "favorites" it does so by a menu. It does not give you a choice to display this as a link or a menu like it does for other folders. Is there a way to fix this?
