try making the icons slightly larger by moving the slider in here...

Icon Thumbnail appears to small-slide.jpg

that may make them all the same size and remove the line around the smaller ones.

failing that copy the icons and enlarge them in paint, 500 x 500px will be enough
then save as png and upload them here
ConvertICO.com - Convert .PNG format files to .ICO or .ICO format files to .PNG : Windows 7 compatible icons
sometimes it gives a message about it being too large a size but clicking go again usually does it.
you want to see it convert to a size of about 361.4kb
then see how it goes

-what do you mean by "remove the line around the smaller ones"?

- Right click on empty area and uncheck "View-> Hide File names" option.
- If this option is not exist then press and hold SHIFT key, right-click in empty area and select "View -> Medium Icons" option.

- If it doesn't work, enable "Show hidden files and folders" option in Folder Options and then delete "Desktop.ini" file present in the folder which has this invisible name problem.

hopefully it will work.........
-what do I accomplish by setting the view to Medium icons?
-Desktop.ini is part of operating system files, thus it won't appear just by showing hidden files.
-also, what is the "invisible name problem"?

-the 500x500 px didn't work, also the transparency of the file will be lost when I save it as PNG file.

I know it should retain, but I can't do so.

-Right Click>Edit, increase size, Save As PNG File. A prompt tells me that the transparency would be lost.

when the icon is enlarged the square thin line around the small icons in your original screenshot should dissapear.

as photoshop wont open an ico file without a plugin,
then the simplest way is to resize in paint, save as png ,
accept loss of transparency and remove the white background using the magic eraser tool in photoshop,
then upload to convertico as said before.

Thumbnail icon on WMV file seems to be 'tagged' on
