    Taskbar Freeze After Wake/Unlock... And Windows Updates.

    Hello,

    When waking from sleep then unlocking session, or even just locking and unlocking later, the task bar will be frozen for +10'sec (when you clic on it, pop-up will tell it doesn't respond, etc..) at boot it does it too, but less long and this is understandable since it has to load every apps, etc... After waking/unlocking however, i don't get it! Any ideas?

    PS: This month's tuesday patches are safe? Last month's too? I didn't install any of them yet, i know there was some issue recently so i prefer to ask.. Maybe there's a thread for that?

    Thanks;

    How are you locking and unlocking ?
    I haven't seen any issues with any of the Important updates, using ie10 64-bit. passed on some of the Optional/ Recommended ones after reviewing them.
    I've passed on quite a few Optional/ Recommended updates after reviewing them/ ie9 on another machine.

    You might want to finish your system spec's page so allot of details can be displayed,
    How many programs/ open browser windows are we talking about ?
    Have you loaded the Important updates yet ?
    The only possible questionable one would be ie10 ?
    I use ie10 but for some people it doesn't agree with their systems.

Are you saying that IE10 changing Windows Explorer much and it could be the cause of all these strange bug i had (including the one i mention now)? And not sure what you ask first "How many programs/ open browser windows are we talking about"..?

    I was asking when you lock your computer do you lock it with open programs...and if so how many.
    With the new version of ie10 issues there was also windows updates as well,
    There were a bunch of Option updates issued as well not sure if any of they were specific to your issue though.

    Yeah there are quite many apps opened, browser = chrome with at least 50 tabs... But it's running fine, i mean, no freeze or else... Actually i'm suddenly thinking of mediamonkey, it's cause some freeze sometimes, i'm gonna try without it. It wouldn't explain all the bug anyways...

    50 tabs is quite a bit to load after unlocking plus your other programs/ apps.

    That's true, but this is not the problem : i had even more tabs/browser opened before, and didn't had that issue!
