Unknown File Type - {#F#CBFE1-#FED-#AFB-####-######D#D##} ETC

Windows 7 Prof - 64bit - UserName/AppData/Local: I have some many of these but cannot find any info about them - what they are/where they came from, etc. If I click on them, tells me the folder is empty. How can I find out what they are and where they are coming from . . . . . AND, can they just be deleted?

Thanks to anyone who can help

It is quite likely your PC is infected.

Download Microsoft Safety Scanner Microsoft Safety Scanner - System Requirements and run it.

You may also check with Malwarebytes Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

What antivirus/Security program do you have on your machine? Does it offer realtime protection and have you enabled it? Are you updating the definitions regularly and implemented Scheduled scans?
