sometimes when my computer boots I get a black screen with mouse

so one day (9 weeks ago) my computer crashed on boot up for no reason( right before you get to the log in screen ) then it restarted and I got a black screen, so I turned it off to restart. So since then I may get 1 of 5 things: a black screen, a black screen with mouse pointer, its starts up but the desktop icons don't work including taskbar, task manager and my computer, its crash(occasionally) or its just starts up normally. I think it's the expolrer.exe because one time when it started up to the black screen with mouse I was able to pull up the task manager and then I run explorer.exe and the desktop appeared, so it worked that one time.

Hi Bikeboy and "Welcome to the Seven Forums.". . .

Now to your problem: Attempt a "Startup" in "Safe Mode" (Push F8 to go to Safe Mode). Once in Safe Mode go to "Recovery" and once in Recovery choice a time (Date) before the problem started for Recovery to see if that fixes the problem. . .Good Luck.

I already tried that and it didn't work and tried the sfc file check in safe mode and it didn't find any problems like I said I think its the explorer.exe.

turn your computer off. then turn on hit f8 repeatedly until you get a menu.

hit repair your computer - log in - when you get to the advanced repair menu - click system restore - restore to an earlier time

windows may or may not automatically find the problem in the process

I tried ALL of that and nothing work I even the checked the registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon) and everything is in order. My computer boots up and works perfectly but for every five boots I either get a black screen or a black screen with moving cursor and task manager DOES NOT WORK when I get the black screen.
