    Windows 7 Public Folders

I am a single user on my Win 7 64 Bit Pro machine. Can I go into Windows explorer and remove all Public Folders without causing a problem?

I think the Public folder is a system folder and is not deletable. You may be able to delete it but when you shut down and re boot I think Windows 7 will re create the public Folder.
    I would just ignore it!

    Hello Gary,

The Public folders are system folders, so I would leave them be. They do not take up any space if you leave them empty anyways. :)

I guess you can't. I tried to just hide it and all of my pictures were removed. So I put it back to normal.
