mouse pointer erratic operation

this just started...mouse pointer randomly changes to double arrow horiz line the font color changes as it appears this is in blue -- can't remember another post that wasn't black. pointer disappears over a window - I can see the insertion point here but if I move the mouse it changes to a vertical line or dbl arrow over the desktop and the dbl arrow over pares of this FF window. If I reboot it goes normal for a while. There are also times it just freezes for 2 -8 sec. this is W7 ult it happens in my admin and std user logins

I uninstalled the nVidia graphic driver and ran DriverSweeper_2.1.0 to get rid of all remnants then reinstalled the latest driver and so far so good. it may be too soon to tell.

I just rolled back my Nvidia driver and it solved my odd mouse problems of it stalling when moved.
