Tried trial program and still problem with IE

I put in the trial convertXDVD program and the first time it seemed like after it said I needed the administrators permission it went nuts and wouldn't close giving me 2 messages which I included here. I had to just force a restart to get it off the screen and stop the flow of messages. I also saw a quick message saying it had been installed wrong. I reinstalled it and this time I only got the error message of not being the administrator. I clicked on install as administrator and run as administrator etc. No difference. I talked hubby into letting me try it on his as one of the other free ones I put on took 3½ hours to say the 2 videos were converted but to large for the disc and that never happens in convertx even with a 3rd short one. And when I removed the one video there was no way to burn it. will try it on his and buy if it works faster. He has a smaller one and a lap top so it maybe just the pc he has.

Also when I click on a link in my emails the page comes up often in such small print I can't see it. No way to go to view and zoom it. I am attaching those shots too.
    Thank you for your help.

    did you try this yet?

    right click and click properties
select the security tab on the top
    select advanced
    select the owner tab
    click edit
click you're user account, if you are the only user on the system and are an administrator, i'd recommend just selecting administrators. hope this help!

If you explain a little more I will certainly try it. Forgive redfang when I was answering here hubby was waiting for supper! I went to fast.

Red Fang: I decided you meant the free burning program I have and I did what you said and saved it all and then when I opened it I right clicked and put run as administrator but it didn't work. Good idea though as my name was not marked in the section so it could have been it. Thank you!!

Ok I did it on the movie and I still get permission denied. Do you guys think I should make an appointment and take my pc in for a wipe out and reinstall? I have room on an external to move everything over so I wouldn't lose what I have but then would that just take along the problem and I would be no where. I can just make a list of the programs I have and move the pictures and my Paint Shop pro things. That has been on the pc forever. I supose I can leave everything but the pictures and my psp program on the external? Leaving it all up to you what to do.

I'd wait a bit longer to reinstall, somem more people may have some ideas :)
plus i have a couple more tricks:
since you have now taken ownership of the item, try doing this:
1.right click the files you want to burn and click properties
    2.go to security tab
    3. click edit
4.an click full control for system your account, and Administrators

(try doing this with your burning software also)

    ---If this does not work---
open cmd as Admin (type cmd in start menu, right click and select run as administrator)
    type this:
    Net User YourUserAccount
(YourUserAccont standing for the name of your user on the computer)

    After that, try again.

Tried the new suggestions and failed badly

Ok screen shots again as I get to wordy. First clicking on file I wanted to convert and burn as you said I couldn't have both click full control for system your account, and Administrators. Only 1 or the other shows up. I clicked on the administrator one and closed out and did the same on the burner. The #3 screen shot shows the diffference it shows allowed all by itself but it is such a pale gray it is like they aren't marked?
Ok it didn't work so tried several different things in system 32 and nothing was accepted. I know I was stupid with the first one! Brain freeze.
