I cant download things that i need

Every time i try download a game or something it says application not found so i need help with that please help.

More information needed....

What are you doing exactly when you receive that error? All the browsers have their own downloading built in.

What are the download specifics: A site example and file extension is what I am after.

If talking torrents you need an application that handles the extension, whatever it is, I avoid them like poison ivy.

Some companies use them for downloading their HUGE programs, but usually provide their own program for the download.

it used to be perfectly fine till i downloaded avast anti virus free version then it started to show the error Application not Found after every download. am using Google Chrome, and its not a torrent
