Full Screen Problem

Hi all, first post here and it's driving me nuts. I have a dell optiplex 360 and having trouble viewing some things on youtube or any sites full screen. It looks wide screen vs. full screen and I do not know how to change it. I tried updating all the drivers changing ATI setting with the Catalyst Control Center and just can not find an answer.

Below I have listed a few specs:

1. 1280x1024 (highest/recmmended)
2. Connection: DVI-DVI (it will not allow me to view with VGA for some reason).
3. OS: Windows 7 32 BIT

* I took screen shots but not sure where they are going, if anyone can please help me with this FULLSCREEN issue.

Thanks,
Steve

What do you want? Your monitor resolution is almost square
Normal HD/Full HD video's are wide screen(16:9 ratio), and your isn't a wide screen. There is nothing wrong
When you set the resolution at 1280x720(16:9), that is HD format, and it is full screen.
I think your monitor is 4:3 Ratio.
Could you tell us your monitor name and model?

Do you have a wide screen monitor?
Including the make/model monitor in your specs will be helpful.

Newegg.com - ASUS VS207T-P Black 19.5" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers

Will this solve my problem???

I want to be able to view videos online (FULLSCREEN...edge to edge).

Also, which screen resolutions fall under widescreen and full screen:

my example: 1280x1024 ...cuts off top and bottom...

which screen resolutions go from edge to edge?

Thanks,
Steve
