    Problems with control panel

Hello all, I'm not too sure if this is the right place to to put this thread. Moving on, I've been having problems with my control panel. When I click control panel from my start menu it goes blank, and on other pages of control panel it says "the page failed to load." I've tried sfc /scannow but it shows that everything is fine. I tried to restore back to my latest restore point on system restore but it doesn't go back that far and only goes to around 12 days ago. I've been having problems with it for a while now but haven't really put too much attention into it until now. I tried googling the problem and such but nothing seems to work. I can run the control panel perfectly fine on safe mode though. Thanks in advance and I hope you can help me!

Interesting. Have you deep AV and Malware scanned both from reg. boot and or a safe boot? If this continues you may want to try a repair install.

All right I'll try a scan and I'll post the results when I'm done! I would also like to avoid having to re-install windows as this laptop doesn't even have a CD drive

I hope you don't have to re-install as well, but a repair install is different so read the tutorial.

As a test, boot to safe mode and see if control panel works there

Sorry, missed that. This means you likely have a program conflict. Try performing a clean start to see if you can identify the culprit.
