- The link you've sent is a different BIOS than mine. I am using BIOS 205 from this link: https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultra...rt_Download_36
Okay on the first three, we'll have to look elsewhere.

I just took a stab at your machine. your specs don't offer much,

Thanks but the problem is, that my laptop is not sleeping. It's turned off. Not sleeping or in hibernate. Off.
And also i have already tried everything that your link suggest to to. Still not solved. Thanks though.
Did you run this command & it came up with nothing?:

  1. To see the list of all devices that can wake the computer, run the following command:
    Powercfg -devicequery wake_armed
This also applies to your laptop turning ON from "OFF".

You recently reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Where did you get the installation media and how did you re-install?
i.e. Did the laptop come with Ultimate pre-installed, and you did a factory recovery?

I got a DVD with Windows 7 All In One from a friend.

In September 2012 one of my friends pushed my laptop one the ground so i had to buy a new harddisk. Since then the laptop has worked perfect. Until i reinstalled windows the other day.

EDIT: I did af formation of the harddisk. So i deleted everything on the harddisk.

What version of Windows was pre-installed when you bought it?
Do you have the factory Recovery discs?

I don't know that it will fix your problem.
But when you have installed Windows from a DVD a friend gave you, who knows what will happen?
Did your friend give you a complete/genuine Win OS including the license key?
Did he uninstall it from his machine?
Using the tutorial you will get an install with a known valid/genuine Windows...
