C Drive is suddenly nearly full ??

On my wife's PC (Win 7 x64bit) she has approx. 100Gb C-drive. It's always nearly empty. She even has her "MyDocs" folder located 'offshore' in the E Drive.

But suddenly it's red-lining. Capacity is just about 'maxed out'. It should be empty apart from the Win7exe stuff & associated Program folders i.e. just the win7 engine components live in there (c-drive).

And as a side effect or something unrelated we know not which - Firefox is white screening after a minute or two of use and we are forced to switch to other browsers.
