Unknown BSOD from password crack attempt

have you tryed booting safe mode? and could you get the exact error please?

I cant boot at all, let alone safe mode. Also, I'm no longer getting the BSOD, (Windows simply won't load), but when I did, it only flashed for a second before the computer crashed.

do you by any chance have a windows 7 installation disk?
If not you can het them from here:Windows 7 SP1_Refresh ISO - WinCert.net Forums legally and free, unactivated, try booting one from disk or usb and running the repair my computer option.
If you need any further instruction, just ask.

while u do this i'll be looking for a way to repair SAM...

for the above they recommend backing up Sam, you decide if you want to or not. You should be able to use this method from kubuntu.

Thanks for your help so far, Ill try what you said, however, I do not have a disk drive (Ill try USB). Also, I double checked, the advanced options from F8 do not work, including safe mode and repair my system.
[EDIT] I'm downloading the disk right now, but I haven't the faintest idea on how to use it, so could you explain or give a tutorial link as well?

k First of all you have to make you're usb bootable, before you do this back up all the data on the usb.
Open elevated command prompt(Start>type cmd in search bar right click on cmd and run as administrator)
Type Diskpart
type list disk ( make sure you do not have any other usb's plugged in while doing this, you may format the wrong one)
type select disk ...(... stands for whatever disk you're flash drive is, you should be able to tell the differance thru size)
type clean
type create partition primary
type format fs=ntfs quick
type active
type assign
you'r usb is now bootable.

---Part 2---
1.using winRAR or 7zip if you have them, (if not you will eiher have to get them or something that can extract iso files, i recommend WinRAR, you shuld be able to find a download pretty easily) Extract the ISO to your USB flash drive.

2.Setup you're BIOS to boot from usb ( assuming you have previously installed kubuntu i'm pretty sure you know how to get into you're bios)

3.after booting your USB click the button that says repair your computer DO NOT CLICK Install windows, this is for a clean install of windows if you ever need one

4. This will start the Windows 7 System Recovery Options which contains several useful diagnostic and repair tools, one of which is Startup Repair
