Thanks for the offers guys but I am good. My Power supply is a Gateway and they along with HP, Dell, and a few other brands usually underrate their PSU's. So 275 watts could be anywhere from 375 actually or 400. And that's at the cards max capacity. Did some research on that. I don't game on my PC at all so I won't be running this one even close to that. This card is awesome though, I can even go old school on it and run MSN explorer 6 with Windows 7 at lightning fast speed! I have an affinity for that particular browser when typing up articles and stuff.
PC power is like a gun. It's better to have it and not need it, than to not have it, and need it,
Nah, I am fine with my GW E4610. Actually I am a slow upgrader because I take such good care of my PC's. I had an ev700 unit with XP for 12 years before this one. And it was not easy finding a PC with windows 7 already installed. Everyone has 8.
An e4610 which I can add ram and a new PSU anytime I want, saved me more money than an $800 new Gateway GT plus Windows 7 which would've costed me an extra $100+. This manufacturer refurbished unit with Windows 7 cost me $139 in total. Came with boot disc too!
