Would using a different desktop background color such as BLUE make the issue easier to see in a photo?

I think I see what you mean, its only slight but the image is slightly low on the left hand side. I am not sure of either of these monitors being TFT, from the pics they both look CRT to me. On the CRT at least you should be able to rectify this with the OSD (On Screen Display) Menu. There are options to rotate, skew, trapezoid, widen, narrow, convex and concave vertical and horizontal adjustments, Depending on the monitor the list is virtually endless. As said prviously it can take a little fiddling, I found (its been a while) make the whole image a little smaller, then get the edges right, then adjust size to fit again.

The screen image appears tilted to me. Does the monitor have "tilt correction" in the menu? Your monitor a CTR or LCD/LED flat screen?

I'm glad some of you see it (the slant/titlt) so I am not looking like a crazy person here lol!

@Substyler: I have tried to use OSD to fix this issue to no avail. The best I can do with working with it is use tilt to tilt the screen upwards a little bit on the left hand side. Problem is, that makes things higher than I want them to be. Nothing else is OSD works.

@madcrate:It has a tilt option, but as I said above, it'll only do so much when the issue isn't OSD related. But what's your diagnosis on this?

My PC is having no BSOD's, crashes, programs and files open and close lightning fast, no beeping from inside the case, fan keeps it cool inside, etc. This weird tilt/slant is the only problem. It isn't as prevalent on my LCD monitor but once you open a browser window, then it is.

So an issue like this has to be graphics card/video card related. If it were the whole motherboard, I'd be having all sorts of issues apart from this.

My conclusion is the old CRT is bad. It's the only logical and plausible thing left. Maybe time to get a new LCD monitor. Have you tried one?

I don't think it's my monitors. On the day, the very day this problem started...I tested my LCD monitor and the issue persisted. Two monitors going bad at the same time is impossible. Plus, I tested a TFT monitor and a larger CRT recently and both monitors had the same slant. The TFT I hadn't used in 2 years. The larger CRT about the same. And my other flat screen LCD, I only use to watch movies. No way it could've went bad so early in the game. Not to mention both were brand new buys. The small CRT I got from an office, the larger one was sent to me from someone who owed me a favor. I am also having a hard time finding video cards. Low profile ready is all new egg is selling. As in you have to put the brackets on yourself. And the others have a DVI-I and a VGA socket. But the DVI socket is first, so when installed you won't be able to reach the VGA socket anyways.

Ahh, OK, I thought I only saw CRTs in your photos. I don't see any distortion either though. I dunno mate.

The closest compadre' to me is approximately a 90 minute drive to Brooklyn. That's accounting for New York traffic.

I'll be getting a PCI card, most likely Nvidia. It's my only idea/option now.
