question about the user32.DLL file...

hi all,

Will this file always be present in Windows OS's? I am developing right now on Vista 64-bit and it would seem to me at some point that this core component of windows would eventually be replaced by something like "user64.DLL". Does that make any sense at all to anyone?

Would anyone have any web references where I could get function lists for this library, as it has changed from OS version to OS version? Or does it never change?

Any comments certainly appreciated. thanks!
